Rules

There are only a few, and none of them are secret.

  1. 1

A dollar puts you on the board.

Search for an app by name or paste its App Store link, pay at least $1, and it shows up. Whole dollars only — no cents.

  2. 2

    Bids add up.

Every bid on an app joins its running total. Ten $1 bids and one $10 bid come to the same thing.

  3. 3

The highest total sits on top.

That is the entire ranking. No engagement score, no freshness decay, no algorithm.

  4. 4

Ties go to whoever got there first.

Matching a total is not enough to pass an app. You have to beat it.

  5. 5

Anyone can bid on any app.

You do not have to own it. If you want an app higher, outbid the one above it.

  6. 6

Search by name, or paste a link.

Typing a name searches the App Store and you pick from the results. An apps.apple.com link or a bare app ID goes straight to that app. Apple Music, Podcasts, Books and TV links will not work, and neither will apple.co short links.

  7. 7

Names and icons come from Apple.

The listing is looked up for you, so what sits on the board is what sits on the App Store.

  8. 8

The board holds the top 200 apps.

It refreshes every 30 seconds, so a new bid lands within about half a minute.
